Renae Yaklin, LMT

Renae is the Massage Therapist for the Colston Wellness Gym. She is from the local area, and has been a licensed massage therapist for 19 years. The best part of her job is knowing after she works on someone, they will leave feeling so much better than when they came in.



Melissa Elliott, Aerobics Instructor

Melissa is the Water Aerobics and Strength and Conditioning Instructor for the Colston Wellness Gym. She is also currently the Administrative Executive for CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Kleberg, where she has been employed for the past 13 years. She has successfully lost 162 lbs. over a course of 2 years, and loves to motivate and help others reach their fitness goals.


Elda Leal, Aerobics Instructor

Elda is a Zumba Instructor for Colston Wellness Gym. In 2004, during a time when she was trying to strengthen herself inside and out, she was introduced to Zumba. The classes were so much fun that she decided to get certified, and in 2009 she came to work for us. She enjoys working with the most helpful, caring, and supportive team here at Colston, and loves to teach Zumba to people who want to work out and have some fun while doing so.



Esmeralda Megee, Aerobics Instructor

Esmie is a Zumba Gold Instructor with the Colston Wellness Gym. She is co-owner of Zumama Fitness L.L.C. of Corpus Christi. Since obtaining her certification in 2008, Esmie has been working with the senior population within the Coastal Bend area. She finds total pleasure and fulfillment in teaching and educating members to better themselves in accomplishing their health and fitness goals. She enjoys working for Colston Wellness Gym where they care about their members. Our members are her family.


Alyssa Serchia, Aerobics Instructor

Alyssa is a Moms in Motion Instructor for Colston Wellness Gym. She is the mom of two adorable little girls and her husband coaches football. Alyssa has a bachelor’s degree in Health & Exercise Science and has been a certified personal trainer and instructor since 2006. In 2014, when her first daughter was born, she started teaching Moms in Motion as a way to help other moms get fit with their kids. She brought the class to Colston in 2015 when she moved here. She loves the community and the fact that kids are watching their moms set such a healthy example.
